Player Profile – Jason Gore

A native of Van Nuys, Calif., Jason Gore was and a member of Pepperdine University's 1997 NCAA Championship team as well as the victorious 1997 United States Walker Cup team. He also won the 1997 California State Amateur Championship and California State Open before turning pro that year.

He played on the Nationwide Tour from 1998 to 2000, as well as in 2002 and 2004, and on the PGA TOUR beginning mid-season in 2005. He won the PGA TOUR's 2005 84 Lumber Classic, which earned him a two-year exemption.

Gore's support of Wounded Warrior Project:

Gore is proud to support the efforts of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing tangible comfort and unique, direct support to meet the specialized needs of severely injured service men and women as they recover and transition to civilian life.

Among other programs, WWP provides wounded warrior backpacks and transitional care packages for severely wounded soldiers upon their arrival at military trauma centers.
